Bathroom Remodel

Bathroom remodeling is the second-most common home renovation project, and remodeling both bathroom and kitchen at the same time is also extremely common. One reason why bathroom remodeling is so common is because the bathroom is always in daily use and is the fastest-deteriorating rooms in the house. Another reason to remodel is that a quality bathroom will increase the value of your home substantially. A run-down bathroom may make a home difficult to sell.

We cover a full spectrum of specific bathroom remodeling tasks, including but not limited to the following:

  • Install new tile, wood, or vinyl flooring. We can also tile your walls, around the sink, and in the shower. We can use mosaic/glass tiles everywhere or for accents only to stay in budget.

  • Install a new tub, including Jacuzzi and deep-soaking tubs; and put in a new shower stall, maybe with a sit-down ledge and tile insets for in-shower storage of soap and shampoo.

  • Counter tops and back splashes.

  • Cabinetry, mirrors and framing, under mount sinks, and decorative trim work.

  • Install new toilet. We know how to minimize the chances of leaks and back-ups so your sub-flooring will not be damaged by pooling water.

  • Run or re-route any electrical cables as needed to connect with new lights/outlets or in-floor heating controls.

  • Replace and/or upgrade old faucets, shower heads, sinks and drains. In general, we can handle all of your plumbing needs, including moving water lines to a new sink location.

  • Add convenience and style by putting in storage fixtures like near-shower towel bars, heated towel racks, sturdy tissue roll holders, vanity area shelving, and more. These little details make a big difference in the functionality of your bathroom, and buying quality means not having to replace them for a long time.

Deck Additions / Remodels

Installing new decks and remodeling old ones are among the most common exterior construction jobs that homeowners invest in every year.

Decks adds extra “outdoor living space” with quick access to your home’s interior—perfect for outdoor barbecues and parties or just for relaxing. Deck additions normally render an 80% ROI, thus substantially boosting the resale value of your home.

We can do any deck job, whether new installation or remodeling, small or large, complex or simple, ground level or upper story. We work with you on the design and planning stage and help you stay within your budget. We put quality and thoughtfulness into every stage of the project, from beginning to end.

We can accommodate you on any material you desire. We commonly work with cedar, redwood, numerous other woods, composites, and PVC-based materials. Spindled railings, access stairways, step-downs, under-deck ceilings, and more can also be added.

Each material has its own distinct advantages. For example, wood adds much value and beauty to your home and can be treated and stained to resist weather and insects. Composites are less expensive, mimic the look of wood, and require little maintenance. PVC-derived materials are stain, scratch, split, mold, moisture, and insect resistant and highly durable usually with a lifetime warranty.

Besides the above-mentioned services, we also handle the following:

  • Install multi-tier decking and connect third, second, and ground levels with outdoor stairways, which can be straight runs or change directions as needed.

  • Wrap pools with decking and ensure wood used is highly resistant to both water and chlorine.

  • Utilize space underneath you deck or outdoor stairway for storage purposes or close it off with lattice work.

Patio Additions

Patio covers, sun rooms, and various types of enclosures are a great way to make fuller use of your outdoor space. The value they add to your home will also be significant, and the cost is generally much less than a full room addition or remodeling job.

Whether as part of a new patio installation job, a patio remodeling project, or simply adding the patio cover itself, having a patio cover installed will bring with it a number of important benefits, including the following:

  • A cover over your patio will shield the stone, concrete, or brick of your patio from the weather and prolong their lifespan. The same can be said for putting up similar covers over decking.

  • Patio covers also protect you and your guests from the elements. Rain, puddles, excessive heat, sun glare, UV rays, and wind are all diminished, making your patio usable year-round and comfortable to relax on during all but the harshest-weather days.

  • Your patio furniture is better protected from UV light that can cause it to fade, from wind-borne dust particles, and from drenching rains.

  • Patio covers reduce the amount of heat entering your home through windows in the wall adjacent to the patio, and yet, many models still let in plenty of sunlight.

  • A covered patio allows you to get your garden plants started in a relatively sheltered environment so they can quickly thrive once you plant them in the ground. A patio cover is also a wonderful spot to keep your potted plants permanently.

Types of Patio Covers

  • Solid wood patio covers. These can be any shape/size, and their rafters are often attached to the fascia board or the exterior wall. Wood posts are used for support, while plywood covers the roof. The roof will typically be gently sloped and equipped with its own gutters/down spouts for proper draining.

  • Pergolas as patio covers. These covers are extremely stylish and offer partial shading and rain protection. The rafters are angled at the edges, are open with no plywood on top, can be straight or arched, and are either attached to your house or freestanding.
